The Inn
 The
main house was constructed in the early 1800’s and has undergone
many updates and renovations over the years. The décor is casually
elegant with a blend of antiques and reproductions. Fireplaces
in two parlors create a comfortable, cozy environment perfect
for curling up with a good book, sharing the hospitality, or simply
enjoying the warmth and magic of the flames. Breakfast may be
enjoyed in the spacious dining room or, in fair weather, on the
large open deck or front porch.
Guest Rooms
In the main house, the four spacious guest rooms are each equipped
with private baths, air conditioning and a sitting area. Carefully
chosen antiques, reproductions and patchwork quilts set the atmosphere.
In addition to the four guest rooms, a studio apartment, complete
with kitchen, is perfect for guests with children. The apartment
includes a queen sized bed and a double futon.
Behind the main house a barn/loft with an “elegant lodge” feeling
can accommodate four people with a queen and two twin beds. Guests
may enjoy breakfast in the main house, or enjoy it on their own
private deck overlooking the peaceful grounds. A large living
room and dining room area, as well as a private bath complete
with a shower and separate soaking tub make this the perfect peaceful,
private retreat.
 Grounds
The Cobble View Bed and Breakfast is located on six acres with
a small stream and flower gardens. There are a variety of places
to relax in the sun or shade, or enjoy a friendly game of croquet.
 Breakfast
Candlelight and classical music set the stage for a “continental
plus” breakfast buffet for guests staying in the rooms of the
main house and the barn/loft. (Guests with small children in the
studio apartment are provided with a fresh stock of breakfast
basics for their kitchen.) Breakfast hours are 8:30 - 9:30 a.m.
Coffee for earlybirds is available starting at 7:30 a.m.
